Up until a certain point in my life, I'd always called myself a Christian. I went to church every Sunday, read the Bible once in a blue moon, prayed when I wanted something or when things were bad. However, I never really understood what I was reading, Who I was praying to or take in what the Pastor would say during sermons. I definitely didn't have a relationship with Jesus then.
This all changed when I was 16, but I'll save my testimony for another day. :)
As I mentioned in my first blog post (which you can read here), the Covid-19 pandemic helped me to grow in my own walk with Jesus.

The Covid-19 pandemic was a time where there was a lot of fear, doubt and a feeling of not knowing what could happen next. It was a time where many came to the faith, and many left it. It was a testing time for me personally, but by the grace of God, He gave me strength.
What will this section be about?
This is where you will get to know me a bit more. I'll be sharing insight from my personal Bible studies, encouraging messages and series and much more! I have been in the faith for over 5 years now and I've made my fair share of mistakes, learned and un-learned many things on my journey so far.
I was a bit doubtful about including this section, mainly because I would allow my fearful thoughts to consume me. 'I don't know absolutely everything about the Christian faith', 'I'm not the best writer', 'I still struggle with many things, I don't want others to think that I am some sort of perfect saint', 'Who would want to read what I have to write anyways?' I also had this thought that I needed to be 'ready' to begin. I kept on trying to wait for the 'perfect' time to start, but the truth is that if I waited until then, I'd be waiting forever haha.
To be honest, these thoughts still plague my mind. However, I had to come to a realisation that God can use absolutely everyone. You don't have to know everything to at least encourage or help someone on their own journey.
What is the aim of this section?
It is to help you grow in your own relationship with God and to shed some light on the faith for anyone interested.
When do we expect to see posts?
Every Wednesday.
Note:
In no way am I a 'perfect' Christian. I make errors everyday and face a lot of temptations too and that's why I need to rely on Jesus. I don't know it all, I still have a lot of learning to do. But I will share what I know, my experiences and more.
I pray that this section of the blog will aid you in some way.
Before you go...
Going through a trial? Want some intercession? Need somebody to talk to? Whatever you're going through, I'd be more than happy to pray for you and talk with you. No-one should go through hard times alone.
P.S: You do not have to be a Christian to do the above, all are welcome! :)

And with that being said, here I am, finally beginning...
Zechariah 4:10 (NLT): "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand."
i love this so much, genuinely !!
